The workshop that Esther Tapiz gave on "Protocols for dealing with psychological problems" ..
.. provided me with the necessary tools to better help my students.
It was very useful, entertaining, enriching and well planned. After the workshop I feel much more confident when faced by my students' psychological problems.

The course "Protocols for dealings with psychological problems" is very useful ..
.. for those without a background in psychology. It helps you deal more calmly with the kind of emotionally charged situations in which our students can get involved.
During the session you learn to identify the symptoms associated with various relatively common psychological disorders among the American University student population, such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, etc. and how to deal with students suffering from them in a particularly tense moment. You revise protocols, such as how to help sexual assault victims. Participants learn the exact steps to follow in these situations. Something to keep in mind, and on which emphasis is made, is the importance of the psychic well-being of the support staff that assist students.
The session includes a review of specific case studies and the resolution thereof by the participants. The exchange of experiences and opinions generated during the session is particularly interesting.
Highly recommended for professionals who specifically deal with American University students, as it addresses the health problems and situations that often affect them, and young people in general.
