This workshop enables us to develop techniques in order to set limits on student's inappropriate behavior. The workshop revolves around the need to limit inappropriate conduct, practice specific techniques to communicate with difficult students (such as transactional analysis) and works on identifying the profile of the most difficult students to handle.

In this workshop teachers worked on various conflictive situations in the classroom. They reflected on their own irrational beliefs in relation to their performance as teachers. They looked at different student profiles and learned about the various tools needed to manage the moments of conflict, based on transactional analysis and assertive communication.
Teachers carried out a survey before taking part in the workshop. The workshop itself included an explanation of the theory and case study analysis and was considered excellent by all teachers and resulted in a very constructive discussion in subsequent teachers' meetings.
As academic director of the center, I can honestly say that the workshop has had a clearly positive impact on teachers' conflict management in the classroom, and communication between teachers and myself when dealing with these issues.
